Ranked among the top 5 % in our business sector with regard to sustainability efforts
For the fourth year in a row, BIM Kemi has been awarded a Gold medal in recognition of sustainability achievements from EcoVadis. In the last three years, we have improved our scoring in line with our continuous improvement approach.
Ecovadis is an independent sustainability assessment agency evaluating companies globally and across several business sectors. The EcoVadis rating reflects the quality of the company’s sustainability management system regarding policies, routines, and results.
We are being evaluated across four themes; Environment, Labour & human rights, Ethics, and Sustainable procurement. Once again, the evaluation shows that BIM Kemi is among the top 5 % of all companies assessed within our industry.
Some of our strengths are policy establishment, endorsements of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and strong management system for work environment, environment, and procurement activities. Some challenges for the future are to include more measurements in the environmental reporting and extended control of ethics perspectives.
